About savemesh

savemesh is a single-purpose tool for turning a meshy.ai or tripo3d.ai share URL into a downloadable .glb file. Paste a link, preview the model in your browser, click save. The file lands in your downloads folder — ready for Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot, or any other tool that imports glTF 2.0.

What it does

Single models

Paste a meshy.ai /3d-models/… link or a tripo3d.ai /3d-model/… link. The 3D preview loads inline, the metadata is right there, and the download is one click.

Whole collections

For meshy.ai /collections/… URLs you can preview each item, pick a subset, and download the lot as a single .zip that streams to disk as it builds.

No accounts. No uploads.

Nothing on your side has to log in. Nothing on our side stores your files. Everything happens in the browser tab in front of you.

Frequently asked questions

Which sites does savemesh support?

meshy.ai and tripo3d.ai today. Paste a share URL from either and savemesh handles the rest. More AI 3D providers may follow.

Do I need a meshy.ai or tripo3d.ai account?

No. savemesh works with any public model URL from those sites — paste the link and you get the model. There is no sign-in, no waitlist, and no account on our side either.

What format are the downloads?

Standard glTF binary — a .glb file. It opens in Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot, three.js, model-viewer, and every other modern 3D tool that reads glTF 2.0.

Can I download a whole collection?

Yes, for meshy.ai collections. Paste a collection URL and you can grab every item in one click as a single .zip. The zip streams to your downloads folder as it builds, so even multi-gigabyte collections don't crash the tab. Tripo3D does not expose collections through its public API, so only single models are supported there.

Does savemesh store my models?

No. Files are fetched and saved entirely in your browser. We never persist your models, never proxy them through a database, and never share anything with third parties.

Is it free?

Yes — free to use, no limits, no signup. If savemesh saves you time you can leave a tip to keep the lights on, but it is strictly optional.

Does it work on mobile?

Single-model downloads work on phones. The 3D preview also works with touch (pinch to zoom, drag to orbit). Big collection-as-zip downloads work best on desktop because mobile browsers handle long background downloads inconsistently.

Why might a model not load?

If the model is private or has been deleted by its creator, savemesh cannot reach it either. We only handle publicly accessible URLs.
